Diverting Ubuntu network traffic to Windows machine.

In this post I will describe how to divert web or network traffic from ubuntu PC to Windows machine using Fiddler software.

Install Fiddler on Windows and set following proxy option in it to receive http requests from Ubuntu machine.

After that make following change in Ubuntu machine to send http requests to windows machine. Ubuntu machine may need to be restarted after following change in case of few applications but its not always necessary.

If you don’t want to install Fiddler on external Windows machine you can install Burp Suite or any other suitable software. You need to change the setting of HTTP proxy accordingly.

After above settings whenever a webpage is opened or any other network request is made requests are send to Windows machine, which will be caught by Fiddler.
